Rubber replacement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A rear crankshaft seal, in modern 2 part rubber design. It replaces the old original felt cord. Fits early 1958 before engine number 050990.<\/p>\n<p>One problem that can arise is that the machining in the engine block and the cover is not made for a rubber seal, it is made for a felt cord PAC-5974. Check that the rubber crankshaft seal is properly in the groove and seals with a little pressure against the crankshaft. If it does not, you must fill the groove in the block and the cover with silicone glue, e.g. KEM-2072 or KEM-1234. Or you must use the original felt cord PAC-5974.
